Before we became a well-known coach rental company in and around Dresden, it all began with a single minibus. In the mid-90s Bernd Möbius dared to go solo and found a small company from the basement of his house in the spa town Hartha, near the Saxon capital of Dresden. On behalf of various tour operators he drove passengers all over Europe with his minibus. The foundations for the future were laid and the company still benefits today from the important experience he gained during this time.

Bus rental - our journey from Hartha to Dresden

Despite all the ups and downs that the industry has been through, the bus company has steadily grown - in small but precise steps. In the years that followed, Bernd Möbius' son Thomas actively supported the development of the company. Meanwhile the bus rental service relocated to Dresden. To allow MÖBIUS BUS to expand its product range, customer base and vehicle fleet to include a larger number of vehicles, the company relocated to Gewerbepark Dresden-Cossebaude (business park). Every year, our drivers and vehicles cover over 1.5 million kilometres across Europe.

The bus company’s diverse fields of business

The company has been jointly run by Bernd and Thomas Möbius since March 2003 through a legal partnership. The company brings together many years of accumulated know-how with modern, innovative ideas. This means the services we offer and the work we do are always up to date, and the same high level of customer service is maintained. Our range of services includes bus rentals for groups, with and without an accompanying programme, devising and delivering transport solutions for major events, organising and arranging day trips and bus tours for various customer groups, and providing comprehensive services for tourists in Dresden and the surrounding area. The company also rents out minibuses capable of carrying up to eight people, transfers to the airport or coach station, exclusive sightseeing tours, day trips to the Dresden countryside and much more. As a partner of FlixBus, we have been "driving green" along national long-distance routes since the end of 2013.
